Welcome to Osaka, a city in Japan which is situated in at the mouth of the Yodo River on Osaka Bay. It serves as the capital of Osaka Prefecture and it is often dubbed as the second city of Japan.

Osaka historically happens to be the commercial capital of the country and it is also the world’s ninth largest metropolitan area of Osaka-Kobe-Kyoto. It is also regarded as the nation’s kitchen or the gourmet food capital of the country. Their cuisine includes konomiyaki, takoyaki, udon, regional sushi and other delicious Japanese foods.

The city is best known for bunraku- a traditional puppet theatre and kabuki theatre. There are also places to visit in Osaka just like Expoland, Festival Gate, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Tempozan Harbor Village Ferris Wheel, Tennoji Zoo, Universal Studios Japan and the Umeda Joypolis Sega. There are also temples, shrines, stadiums and shopping malls in Osaka where one can enjoy.
