Laos has definitely many sites to boast for. Among these sites is the Bolaven Plateau.
This is simply 1,200 m high and 10,000 square kilometers in size. It is a very stunning and lush fertile land with many crops and other plants that tribe in the area. Some of these plants are the coffee, cardamom, and fruits. It also has a very beautiful crystal clear waterfall. It is situated between the provinces of Saravane, Champasak, Sekong, and Attapeu.
Coffee cultivation is among the sources of income of the residents. There are also different Mon-Khmer groups that live in the area. Some of these groups are the Laven, Alak, Katu, Ta-oy, and Suay. These groups have different ways of living but are one in the preservation and maintenance of the environment. Many foreigners would love to go to this place simply to get to know more about the people who live there and to have a glimpse of the area’s beautiful spots.
