The fourth largest state of United Arab Emirates, Fujairah is situated on the Gulf of Oman in the east of the country.

It is also the only state of UAE which is mountainous. The economy of the emirate depends on the subsidies and Federal Government grants which is distributed by the Government of Abu Dhabi. Its industry is made up of cement, stone crushing, and mining. The Federal Government departments give consideration on the native workforce and often hire them than foreigners and outsiders. Healthcare is provided for the public through a mixed public and private system. Yet, the locals do not pay anymore with their bills in the hospital for it is already shouldered by the government.

There are also good schools in the state. Some of these schools offer free education to locals. Developed highways and other means of transportation enabled the emirate accessible to many visitors and tourists. The highways are well-funded by the Federal Government. By doing so, corruption can be prevented and the construction of the projects won’t stop.
