The well known beverage in the country is the green tea and teahouses are said to have a cultural importance. The Uzbeks also have the Ayran which is a yogurt drink and is popular every summer. There is also said to be a good deal of grain agriculture in the country that is why their breads as well as their noodles are of great importance. Mutton is most famous and is among the various dishes that are served in Uzbekistan.

Wine is called to be a popular drink among Muslim nations. People in the country are fond of drinking Gulyakandoz, Shirin, Liquor Kaberne and also Aleatiko. There is also a place in the country which is known to have a good winery and this is the Samarkand.
