Rich traditional heritage and unique culture makes up Chiang Mai, a place where “a day is not enough to see things around.”

Chiang Mai is made up of centuries-old chedis and temples found in Thailand. It stands at about 310 meters above sea level and is situated approximately 700 kilometer from Bangkok on the Mae Ping River Basin.

Chiang Mai literally means ‘new city’ and was founded by King Mei Rai as the capital city of Lanna Kingdom. It served as the center of Buddhism in Northern Thailand where temples were built and are still important today.

The place has bountiful natural resources of mountains; one of it is Doi Inthanon which stands 2,575 meters above sea level. It also boasts of its waterfalls, and other nature-based tourist attractions.

Two weeks stay in the place is not long enough to discover Chiang Mai because there is always something new to explore in it.
