Welcome to Gaza, a coastal strip of land found along the Mediterranean which borders Egypt on the south-west and Israel on the north.

It has temperate climate with mild winters and hot summers which are subject to drought. Gaza’s terrain is flat and rolling which has dunes found near the coast. Their natural resources include arable land and natural gas. The country is said to have the oldest known remains of a man-made bonfire and some of the oldest dated human skeletons in the world.
The strip has a small, poorly developed road network yet it also has a single standard gauge railway line which runs the entire length of the Strip from north to south along its center. However, people in Gaza are said to have access to FTA satellite programs, broadcast TV from the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority and also the Second Israeli Broadcasting Authority.
