One of the happiest places here in Asia is HongKong Disneyland.   When we booked our hotels, we’ve already made arrangements for ticket to Hongkong Disneyland as well as transportation to and from hotel.

The local price for a ticket is about HKD350 if I can recall it correctly.  There’s actually an annual pass for about HKD600+.   I think that’s a good deal if you are a HongKong resident.

There’s actually an MTR station near HongKong Disneyland so it is very accessible if you want to try and go there via the MTR subway.

The first thing you will see after the big welcome sign is this whale fountain with mickey riding on top.

On the entrance, you’ll get to see the usual mickey garden flower arrangement.   You can just ask the park’s official photographer to take a picture of you using your camera.  Then after taking your picture, they’ll gonna let you pose and take an “official picture”.  They might ask you to open up your palm when they take a photo of you.

Inside disneyland, there’s actually a shop there where you can check out all your photos (the one taken by their official photographers).  They’ll actually put borders, add mickey mouse signatures, and for the photo below, they’ll put in tinkerbell on top of your palm.

The official photos cost around HKD100 for each print.    Very expensive if you ask me.  But in a way, you will be forced to get one (forced by your conscience) because for most families, it is a once (or probably twice) in a lifetime event.   And it would be a very nice remembrance for your kids.
