Made up of 222,544 people, Jubail is a city found in the Eastern province on the Persian Gulf coast of Saudi Arabia.

Jubail

Since its rapid expansion and industrialization, it was named as a new industrial city by the government of Saudi Arabia. Among its industries are the petrochemical plants, iron works, and it also has the Royal Saudi Naval Base. Jubail also has ancient roots for as long as 7,000 years ago. It was the people of Dilmun who had inhabited the area during that time.

The first inhabitants in the city probably find the city a comfortable place to stay in because of its fine harbor and there are also many fishes and pearl oysters in the area. Jubail is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest engineering and construction project ever attempted and it is currently the largest industrial center of the country. It serves as a home to more than 160 industrial enterprises.
