Remember to take lots and lots of shots when you’re with the Disney Characters.   My DSLR can save up to about 1000 shots so I just fire away taking as much pictures as I like.

Take full body shots and also closeup shots.

I bet your kid will love you big time once he gets to see and pose beside Mickey Mouse.

There’s a lot of mickey mouse in Disneyland but I guess they’re limiting their exposure.  I’m sure Disney administration wouldn’t want kids to see 2 mickey mouse at the same time.   But I’m pretty sure the Mickey Mouse dancing in one of the shows in the auditorium is different from the ones in the photo areas.

In these photo areas, there are also official disney photographers so you can hand them over your cameras so you can have a family picture.

Sad to say, some of their shots are not that good.     So I prefer to take a few shots myself before handing over my camera to them.    Check out the photo below.  There’s a huge wide open space above our heads.  He could have zoomed in more to get a clearer shot of the subject (“us”).

Surprisingly, when they use their own official camera, they make good shots.   They’ll hand you a ticket with a photo number.  You can then visit their photo shop, show them the ticket and they’ll show you the “official photo”.    Then they’ll sell you their “official photo” for about HKD100 a pop!

Nice marketing strategy if you ask me.
