If you are in Myanmar be sure to visit its national capital for it offers a lot of beautiful places as well as historical landmarks. Yes, Naypyidaw is the one I’m talking about. Its name simply means Royal City and also translated as “abode of kings.”Naypyidaw

It was founded in late 2005 and it is more centrally and strategically situated than the old capital Yangon. Naypyidaw is also serves as a transportation hub and it is found adjacent to the Shan, Chin and Karen states. It is also where a stronger military and governmental presence is felt which provide stability to those turbulent regions.

It was on March 27, 2006 when more than 12,000 troops had marched in the new capital in its public even which is a massive military parade that marked the Armed Forces Day. It is the anniversary of Burma’s uprising against the Japanese occupation in the year 1945.
