Known as a first class city in Batangas, Philippines, Nasugbu has a total population of 96,113 and it is well known because of its white sand beach resorts.

People in the city are Tagalogs and most of them are Catholics. It is among the most important centers of the Roman Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Lipa. The city is bounded by the municipalities of Maragondon, Magallanes, Alfonso, Laurel, Calaca, Balayan and Lian. Nasugbu is composed of fields of sugar cane, corn and rice, hills and mountains. Its terrain slopes downs to the South China Sea.
The city’s main industries are agriculture with sugarcane, rice, corn, vegetables, coconut and fruits as its main products and aquaculture. There are also meat processing and poultry-growing industries in Nasugbu. The city serves as the home to the largest sugar company of the Philippines and it is the only town in Luzon which has bibingkahan found in its public market.
