The Philippine cuisine is mainly influenced by the Spanish, Mexican and Asian cuisines. Its food and dishes are known worldwide for having a distinct taste and aroma.

Philippine FoodThe usual Filipino meal is composed of at least one viand which is served with boiled or fried rice. The Filipinos makes use of the spoon and fork and sometimes they eat with their hands in informal settings or when they are eating seafood. They have the adobo or a meat stew which is made from pork or chicken, lumpia or meat/vegetable rolls, pancit or known as noodle dish and a delicious lechon or widely known as a whole roasted pig.

There are also other yummy delicacies of the Filipinos like the afritada, chorizo sausages which are used in pancit or fried rice, empanadas, mais or corn, mani or roasted peanuts, paksiw or a dish made of fish or pork cooked in vinegar and water with some spices like garlic and pepper, torta, kare-kare and a lot more.
