
Being in Asia is also living with their culture. Asian countries like Vietnam have a very unique way in enhancing and developing their culture.
Quan The Am Cultural Festival is celebrated during the 19th day of the second lunar month in Vietnam. It is specifically done in Ngu Hanh Mountain, Danang City, Vietnam. It was first celebrated in 1962 to inaugurate Avalokiesvara Buddhisattava in Hoa Nghiem cave at Thuy Son Mount, located in the Marble Mountains of the country. In 1991, the celebration was practiced annually on a big scale and festivities completed for three entire days.
It has two parts namely the religious ceremony and the festival itself. The ceremony is consists of offering of flowers and prayers. There are also cultural activities implemented that bear the national colors of the country like singing folk songs, chess playing, music, painting, and many other more.
The festival is created to preserve and promote the traditional culture of the country.
