Riding on a Singapore Cable Car

Providing an aerial link from Mount Faber on the main island of Singapore to the beautiful resort island of Sentosa and across Keppel Harbor, the Singapore Cable Car is the first aerial rope way system in he whole world to span a harbor. It has three stations which are the Jewel Box Station at Mount Faber, the HarbourFront Station found at the HarborFront and the Sentosa Station found at Sentosa. There are two supporting towers found in its edges which are situated between every pair of the stations. There are about 27 red-colored aircraft warning balls that are mounted on a telephone rope on the top of the cableway.

It currently has 81 cabins that are suspended at least 60 meters above the sea and are distanced to each cabin 61 meters away or there is one cabin on the go every 15 to 21 seconds. Every cabin can carry a maximum of six passengers and the whole system can carry 1,400 passengers every hour.
