The Indian food is known all over the world and having a taste of it would surely be a delight for anybody.
The Indian cuisine is usually known to be full of spices and herbs. Food is an integral part of the country’s culture and their cuisines differ from community, region and state. The staple foods in India are the rice or atta, the chana or Bengal gram, toor which is a pigeon pea and the mung or green gram. Among the most important spices in the country are the chili peppers, black mustard seed, cumon or jeera, turmeric, fenugreek, ginger, coriander, and the asafetida or hing.  When Indians cook sweet dishes, they make use of cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, saffron, and rose petal.
Tea is the staple beverage of the Indians. The finest varieties of tea in the country are grown in Darjeeling and Assam. The tea is usually prepared as masala chai which is a tea with a mixture of spices boiled in milk.
