The bak kut teh is a popular Chinese soup which is also served in Malaysia and Singapore. Its name simply means pork bone tea and it is made of meat pork ribs boiled for hours together with a broth of herbs and spices.Bak kuh teh

Among the additional ingredients that Chinese people love to mix with bak kuh teh are offal, varieties of mushroom, lettuce and dried tofu. Soy sauce can also be added to the dish. The soup is often consumed with rice and is usually served with youtiao for the delicious dipping into the soup. Healthy Chinese tea of different kinds is also served with the soup. This is done so because the Chinese people believe that the tea dilutes the copious content of fat eaten.
