Festivities and celebrations are what Philippines is known for. The Caracoles Festival is among the country’s great events that are visited and most tourists. The Island Garden City of Samal is blessed with social and cultural heritage. These are among the factors why the area is bountiful and a good place to relax and enjoy.

Caracoles de Samal is a festivity of the bounties of the sea and the richness of the social and cultural heritage of the island. The celebration is usually done in the 28^th to 29^th of April. For many years, the celebration had attracted more than 60,000 spectators all over the world. The festival is also said to be among the three festivals that are promoted by the Department of Tourism in southern Mindanao.

Among the activities that one could engage in during the festivity are the motocross race, island adventure race, battle of the bands competition and a beauty pageant cum fashion design contest.
