Nepal is a Himalayan country in South Asia with different geographical features and rich culture.
The country is about 147,000 square kilometers in size which is divided into three physiographic areas: mountain, hill, and terai (marshy grasslands, savannas, and forests areas) regions. It has many historic temples and it is abundant in cultural treasures.
Nepal depends on agriculture for food and income. They have also other imports such as carpets, clothing, leather goods, and grain.
The country’s culture is influenced by that of Tibet and India which is seen with their clothing, language and food. They also have traditional folklore where stories of the older times are acted out through dance and music.
The country was ruled by a king making it an absolute monarchy country. But the, as the people knew how to fight their rights, the kind of governance has changed and until now, there is no stable government that gave rules and regulations in the country.
But this kind of governance doesn’t hinder the tourists and visitors to explore the country and the riches it has to offer.
