Found in the northern part of East China, the Yellow Sea is a marginal sea of the Pacific Ocean and it is situated between mainland China and the Korean peninsula. Bohai Sea is the innermost bay of the sea and it is said to flow both the Yellow River and the Hai He.Yellow Sea

Other part of the sea is the Liaodong Bay. It is found between the Chinese Liaoning province and northwestern North Korea. The Liaodong Bay and the Bohai Sea are said to be separated by the Liaodong Peninsula. The sea is very important for the migratory waders and shorebirds. There are also other animals which depend on the sea for habitat and survival.

There are a lot of surveys which show that the sea is the single most significant area for migratory birds on northward migration in the entire East Asian-Australasian Flyway. There are about 2 million birds which pass by the area.
