Vang Vieng is found in Vientiane Province. Tourists from different places are often amazed by the beauty and abundance of the place.
The town is simply a long unused airfield runway that is parallel to the river. It was used by Air America’s planes in the Vietnam War. Vang Vieng has started to grow in 1980s because of an influx of backpackers.
The town today is a backpacker town where the main street is littered with guest houses, bars, restaurants, internet cafes, and tour agencies. Inner tubing on the river is one of its marvelous sights. There are also limestone hills and numerous caves and caverns. There are also different places to buy goods. The market is just five kilometers north of the town which sells textiles, household items, and several stalls that sell doubtful foodstuffs. Possible foodstuffs are bats, squirrels, monkeys, rats, and mice.
One would really enjoy spending his or her stay in the place.
