Sharjah is simply the third largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates. It is the only emirate to have land on both the Persian Gulf and also the Gulf of Oman.

It overlooks the Persian Gulf and Sharjah has a total population of about 519,000. It is composed of the main administrative and commercial centers. There are also magnificent landmarks and wonderful spots in the area. It has beautiful recreational areas like the Al Jazeirah Fun Park and the Al Buheirah Corniche. Shrjah is also well-known for having numerous mosques. It is also known to be the Cultural Capital of the country.

It is a sister city to Dubai and Ajman and is only about 170 kilometers away from Abu Dhabi’s capital city. Kalba is the fast growing city of the emirate which is known for its amazingly beautiful back-waters and surrounding mangrove forest. It also has ancient forts and hot water spring at Wadi Halu.
