A city and a municipal council in Punjab, India, Abohar is situated on the Ganganagar-Delhi railway route.

It is also known as the “California of Punjab” due to its rich soil, good irrigation sources, and production of kinoo which is a fruit of the orange family. Abohar is simple historical city that is called trinity of the culture, ethnicity, and civilization of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. In the 2001 census, the city has a total population of 124,303. The males made up 53% of the population while the females consist the 47%.
Its economy is based on Cotton Industries and rose plants. There are also many historical places and religious locations in the city such as the Historical Gurudwara, Badtirath, Balaji Dham, Panjpir, Ghanta Ghar, Raja Abba Killa, Ahuja Nagari, Sahitya Sadan, Nehru Park, and many other more.
