When going out to travel I would also like to be able to watch my favorite TV series. In most travels, the day activities really takes all my energy and when I come back to the hotel at night, it is always nice to be able to still follow your favorite primetime TV series. So when I look for hotels, I usually ask if they have Direct TV Packages included.
I like it when they have these Direct TV deals where they bundle the premium direct tv HDÂ channels to their rooms. And if they can’t add it for free, I usually ask for any Direct TV Offers which sometimes only cost a few bucks for the entire stay in their hotel.
I’m quite biased with Direct TV as compared to cable. Some hotels does not have direct tv and just use plain cable providers. I hate it when there is an important game, specially the finals in football, baseball or NBA and I’m out for a business trip and I can’t watch the game in HD.  Then you’re friend will ring you and ask you something like “Did you see how this and that player managed to get a touchdown with only 5 seconds left in the game?” and you can’t relate because you don’t have the facility to watch it? Arrrgh!
